Kapricorn incorporates the latest advancements in imaging technology with patented STB (Secure Tagged Block) file format, an unmodifiable, secure and “loss-less” imaging format. We also can export to a number of popular image file formats, including TIFF (.tif) and JPEG(.jpg) or Dicom for universal viewing. We have the front office solution as well by duplicating film, creating referral letters and treatment plans, and electronically transfering guaranteed-secure images as electronic attachments to insurance companies or other doctors. No more lost films, no more wet film duplicators, and shorter insurance payment cycles. We are geared to be used in the operatories for quick and easy image capture. The software is simple, easy to use and easy to learn. It even shares the same patient database, allowing you to customize and simplify your entire practice’s imaging needs. Additionally, we can capture x-rays directly from digital sensors as well as scanners, plus full color images from intra-oral cameras, digital cameras and other video sources.

Supporting image capture from the majority of the different digital intraoral sensors available today, XrayVision also integrates with phosphor plate scanners, digital panoramic and cephalometric imaging, flatbed scanners, intra-oral and extra-oral cameras, 3D conebeam tomography and many other digital sources.

XrayVision incorporates the latest advancements in imaging technology and Apteryx’s patented STB (Secure Tagged Block) file format, an unmodifiable, secure and “loss-less” imaging format.
